How to avoid receiving notifications about snapshots created in the virtual machine

From time to time we inform our clients about snapshots created by them. In order not to receive such notifications, you need to add a key with the Snapshot name, text type and value 1 to the Metadata table in the properties of the virtual machine (not vApp) in the Advanced section.

After deleting the required snapshot, we recommend that you delete this key so that you will be notified of all new snapshots on this virtual machine. If you leave this key, we will never notify you of snapshots on the selected VM.
