VPN GOST service is provided on the basis of Infotecs product line, which is a part of ViPNet Network Security complex. The service allows to implement various scenarios:
- construction of secure communication channels between offices of the company (Site-to-Site and Multi Site-to-Site);
- secure access by remote and mobile users;
- interaction with ViPNet networks of other organizations;
- multi-service network protection (including IP telephony and video conferencing);
- organization of controlled access for users from the public network to resources and services provided by the organization.
The service is based on the HW1000 failover cluster of crypto gateways using EtherChannel technology. EtherChannel is a link aggregation technology that allows multiple physical Ethernet links to be combined into a single logical link for better bandwidth and link reliability. As a result, EtherChannel technology distributes data flows to cluster nodes, increasing connection reliability and fault tolerance.
ViPNet technology also protects mobile devices. A device user can securely access any internal resources of his organization over the internet thanks to encryption. VPN is built using GOST 28147-89 algorithm on 256-bit keys. Transmitted data is not available to third parties.
