Manual for VDI configuration using View Agent Direct-Connection Plug In. Part 4

Setting up client’s software.

Continuation. Previous part included first start and setup of VM.

To work in VDI mode through VADC, thin clients which are properly configured or client’s software installed on workstations can be used.

For thin client configuration, contact your hardware supplier or manufacturer.

There are 2 types of client software for working with VDI:

VMware Horizon View Client. Download for 32 bit and 64 bit OS;

VMware Horizon View Client with Local Mode. Download for 32-bit and 64-bit OS.

The primary client connection is established over TCP port 443. If you want to change the port number on which the connection is established, then use VMware Horizon View Client with Local Mode. If you want to change other ports that VADC runs on, then  configure your router as it needs.
